PT Phytochemindo Reksa Participates in the Indonesia Herbal Mini Expo (IDHAX) 2025

Jakarta, October 16, 2025 – PT Phytochemindo Reksa participated in the Indonesia Herbal Mini Expo (IDHAX) 2025, which was part of the 16th Annual Meeting of the WHO–International Regulatory Cooperation for Herbal Medicines (IRCH) held on October 13–16, 2025 at the JS Luwansa Hotel and Convention Center, Jakarta.

The WHO–IRCH is an international cooperation network under the coordination of the World Health Organization (WHO), focusing on strengthening capacity and harmonizing policies in herbal medicine regulation. Since its establishment in 2017, the network has grown to include 49 regulatory authorities from six WHO regions, including three regional and sub regional organizations.

At this year’s Mini Expo, Phytochemindo Reksa showcased a variety of its flagship products and services, including botanical extracts, essential oils, and product formulation and registration solutions. Through its interactive exhibition booth, visitors were able to learn more about Phytochemindo’s innovation and excellence in the fields of natural ingredients, health supplements, and herbal-based cosmetics.

On another occasion during the event, Patrick Kalona CEO of PT Phytochemindo Reksa also delivered a presentation to international delegates, highlighting the importance of collaboration, scientific validation, and sustainable practices in advancing the global herbal industry.
The presentation further emphasized Indonesia’s strategic role as a center for innovation and regulatory cooperation in the field of herbal medicines.

The event was officially opened by Head of BPOM, Prof. Dr. Taruna Ikrar, M.Biomed., MD., Ph.D., together with the IRCH Chair. In his remarks, Dr. Taruna Ikrar stated:

“Indonesia possesses extraordinary natural wealth with great potential to be developed into herbal medicines. There are at least 30,000 species of plants that can be developed into natural medicinal products. Of this number, 18,000 herbal or traditional medicines have been registered, including 71 standardized herbal medicines and 20 phytopharmaceuticals. This shows the vast potential for the utilization and development of natural medicines,” he said.

Phytochemindo Reksa’s participation in the IDHAX 2025 Mini Expo reflects the company’s commitment to continuously support the advancement of Indonesia’s herbal industry through quality, regulatory compliance, and sustainable innovation.
